📊 How Ratings Work
Every player starts with a rating of 400, with a minimum rating floor of 250.
Your rating changes after every match based on:
Your opponent’s rating
The number of frames you win or lose
How expected the result was
🎯 Frames Matter (Not Just Matches)
Unlike traditional systems, we calculate ratings based on frames won, not just match wins.
Winning a match 6–0 earns more rating than winning 6–5
Losing closely costs less than a heavy defeat
Every frame contributes to your rating change
👉 This rewards dominance and consistency, not just results.
⚖️ Expected vs Actual Performance
Before each match, an expected outcome is calculated based on ratings.
Beat a stronger player → big rating gain 🔥
Lose to a weaker player → bigger penalty
Perform as expected → small changes
